We recognize that safety and security go hand-in-hand. And when it comes to both, A. Duie Pyle delivers on our promise to our customers and to our people. We do it with the most intensive safety and risk management program in the business. But we don’t stop there – our in-house Truck Driving Academy runs with a full-time staff that provides both classroom and one-on-one range time over a 10-week period. Year-round safety and security training and continuous improvement programs allow us to have the best-trained drivers and dockhands in the industry. All of our drivers are Class A, CDL, Haz-Mat and Forklift Certified to assure that your product is properly handled, from pick-up to delivery. And because communication is an important aspect of security, we train our drivers on the most advanced shipment tracking technology available to shippers in the Northeast – our own Dashboard to Desktop^™ satellite communications – all to enhance the security and customer confidence of knowing where your products are at all times.

Our efforts have been recognized on numerous occasions. In 2006 and 2007 we were recognized by the state of New York as the Carrier of the Year for Safety, and in 2007 our Loss Prevention Director, Peter Dannecker, was awarded the ATA Safety Director of the Year.

We are also a proud member of the chemical industry’s Responsible Care® Program, and are the only Northeast Regional LTL carrier to bring the highest global standards of safe and secure chemical transportation to the Northeast.
